iMAGINE Upstate Presents: The Science of Sound

iMAGINE Upstate is excited to present “The Science of Sound” Stage as a part of the MAKE Experience sponsored by Michelin North America. The stage is designed to showcase the dynamism of the arts inherent in STEAM while providing engaging, entertaining, and hands-on learning activities for festival attendees. The experience will feature performances from Upstate bands and school groups as well as a “Make Your Own Music” activity.

Interested in taking part?

Please fill out the following registration form to apply for the opportunity to perform on the iMAGINE Upstate Science of Sound Stage by March 9th, 2017. Individuals will be notified of their status no later than March 13th, 2017. Completing this application does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. Finalists will be chosen by members of the iMAGINE Upstate iMPACT Board and will perform on the MAKE Stage sponsored by Michelin North America at STEAM Fest on April 1st.

    If you answered "Yes" to the above question and your group is selected, you will be contacted by a member of our team with release form that is required for participation in this event.

    Please provide a photo of your group, as well as a video of a performance to be featured on the event page.NOTE: iMAGINE Upstate is a family-friendly event. Applicants whose videos feature explicit language/conduct will be automatically disqualified from the contest. Also, by filling out this form the band/organization gives iMAGINE Upstate permission to utilize the provided media for the purposes of the festival.

    • Please upload a short performance video (30 seconds- 1 minute). This video will be used by the iMPACT Board in order to determine the groups who will perform on the day of the festival and may also appear on the iMAGINE Upstate website.
